In this study, we developed the Pure Temperament Performance System (PTPS), that can play pure temperament misic. The PTPS is a kind of expert system to coordinate the frequency interval of the chord based on the knowlledge processing technology. The PTPS plays melody in equal temperament and a chord in pure temperament to avoid the conflict. The conflict is that we can not play better consonance by only equal temperament and pure temperament.The PTPS has a knowledge base, it contains a value to convert equal teperament into pure temperament.We have created the knowledge base. |
