This study examined whether the assessment framework would be applicable or not in practical home care management. Methods: The mail survey on the assessment framework of the demented elderly care management was administered to 22 care managers asking if 29 items of information focus for assessment and 47 needs were necessary for consideration in practicing care management on a model case of demented elderly. Then the care managers had discussion on the survey results. Results: The assessment of “sense of aesthetics" and “life satisfaction," and need contents of “artistic self expression," and “preventing of unbalanced nutrition" were controversial.
