Its performance test was carried out and the maximum power of 1.7 kW/CW has been attained at the beam voltage Vk of 15 kV and the beam current Ik of 1 A. However, the obtained power is only a half of the designed value of 3.5 kW. Anode current and fluctuation of beam current increased with the beam voltage.
