However, non-target ligands, similar to the target ones, are ubiquitous in the environment and can hamper accurate information transmission. In this work, we investigate an error correction mechanism for reliable chemical communications and find an intuitive understanding of how the mechanism can amplify the small difference between the target and non-target ligands. We also demonstrate that the mechanism can balance accuracy and output intensity.
