Nursing care was practiced for two atients according to the support plan, and the contents were analyzed from the perspective of self-care.\nThe results suggested that both patients learned self-care for defecation control and that nursing practice according to a support plan led to the acquisition of defecation control skills in elderly DLBCL patients. In self-care-based defecation control nursing for elderly DLBCL patients, there was a process of “learning about the experience of constipation and prioritizing self-care of defecation” to capture the growing interest in constipation during cancer chemotherapy and a process of “supporting self-care with the aim of improving self-care of defecation” to initiate education and support
